Cheer on Swansea City & Support Cwtsh Clos!

Are you ready to cheer on your home team for a great cause? Swansea City is taking on Blackburn Rovers at the Swansea.com Stadium, and it’s not just about football – it’s about making a difference!
The match is dedicated to raising money for the Cwtsh Clos Appeal, helping families with babies in Singleton Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). These special on-site houses let parents stay close to their newborn babies during the toughest of times. But they’re in need of a makeover to feel more like a cosy home away from home. Join us in making this dream a reality!
Why Is Cwtsh Clos So Important?
When babies need intensive care, being nearby means everything to parents. The Cwtsh Clos Appeal is aiming to raise £160,000 to refurbish these homes, making them more comfortable and welcoming for families.
Bethan Wyn Evans gave birth to a premature baby in 2021, experiencing all that Cwtsh Clos had to offer. She said: “When we found out that we were able to have onsite accommodation it made a world of difference.
“Although we only live around 40 minutes away, travelling that amount of time, and spending 15 to 20 hours a day by your baby’s bedside, on top of the travelling, is just too much.
“For the parents to be able to be on top form for their babies, the accommodation we had in Singleton was so important. We were so grateful for it.”
