Investing in Innovation

In 2023-24, Swansea Bay Health Charity invested £107,000 to fund ground-breaking healthcare science projects, including:

– A world-leading cancer trial in partnership with Swansea University, pioneering the use of blood tests and scans to detect pancreatic cancer earlier and improve survival rates

– Boosting renal care innovation by providing researchers with access to a leading international resource of top-quality data to advance kidney treatment.
