Poetry for Health Board Staff Wellbeing

Thanks to your support, Swansea Bay Health Charity is helping fund creative wellbeing sessions for Swansea Bay University Health Board staff – and the latest addition is all about the power of words.
From 8th May to 26th June, renowned Welsh artist Rufus Mufasa is leading weekly poetry workshops at Morriston Hospital Library every Thursday, 1-2:30pm. Open to all SBUHB staff, these drop-in sessions offer a space to de-stress, reflect, and connect through creative writing.
“Art gives us joyful ways to tackle even the most serious issues, and I know Rufus will inspire with her creativity,” says Johan Skre, Arts in Health Coordinator.
Staff can explore writing in a playful, supportive environment – no experience needed, just a willingness to try something new.
“We’re thrilled to have Rufus here. Poetry in healthcare settings really makes a difference,” says the Morriston Library team.
Thank you for helping us support the wellbeing of NHS staff across Swansea Bay. Your donations are making a real impact.
