Christmas Appeal
Lighting up Lives at Christmas
Donate to support your local NHS and leave your special festive message
Give the gift of support to your local NHS through our Lighting up Lives at Christmas appeal.
Swansea Bay Health Charity is giving you the chance to donate and remember a loved one or thank staff who went above and beyond.
We’ve put Christmas trees in the reception areas of Morriston, Singleton and Neath Port Talbot hospitals on which you’ll be able to hang your special message.
Decorations in the shape of our charity star are available next to the tree at each site for a suggested donation of £2, which can be paid by cash, card or online via our Enthuse fundraising page. The back of the decoration is blank for you to write your message.
Thanks to our generous sponsors Newhall Janitorial and Tilbury Douglas, who have made this appeal possible, every penny raised will go to a good cause on that site.
Stuart Powell, Director of Newhall Janitorial, which is sponsoring the tree in Morriston Hospital, said: “This appeal captures the spirit of Christmas. It presents us all with an opportunity to remember those who are special to us or who helped us and it’s also a time for looking to the future and how we can move forward and support patients, their families and hard-working staff.”
Chris Edmonds, Regional Director, Tilbury Douglas, said: “We’re delighted to sponsor the Christmas trees at Singleton and Neath Port Talbot hospitals as part of the Lighting Up Lives campaign. This gesture reflects our deep appreciation for the incredible work done by Swansea Bay staff and the care they provide to our communities all year round.”
Feel free to take a picture when you hang your decoration and share on Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.
Trees will remain up until after Christmas to give those who donate the chance to collect their decoration if they wish.

Visitors can donate using cash, card or through Enthuse.
