Cwtsh Natur
Raising £200,000 for a nature space for child health and well-being in Neath Port Talbot Children’s Centre.
Looking to support a local children’s charity appeal in Neath and Port Talbot? Be part of something life-changing with Cwtsh Natur.
Cwtsh Natur is a local fundraising appeal by Swansea Bay Health Charity, aiming to raise £200,000 to transform the outdated garden at Neath Port Talbot Children’s Centre into a safe, sensory-rich outdoor therapy space for children and young people with additional needs. The Cwtsh Natur appeal aims to transform this space into a peaceful, safe, and healing area in the embrace of nature.
The Centre supports thousands of children each year with a wide range of physical, developmental, and mental health needs. Many of these children live with long-term or life-limiting conditions, and the Centre provides vital therapy and support through a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
While the Centre has a protected outdoor space, it has become outdated and unsafe. Our goal with Cwtsh Natur is to create a garden where children can play, heal, and connect – a space that supports therapy, encourages movement, and nurtures well-being.
Through the Cwtsh Natur appeal, we want to create a peaceful, nature-based sanctuary where children and families can:
● Access inclusive, accessible outdoor therapy equipment
● Enjoy a safe, welcoming space for sensory play and relaxation
● Connect with nature and wildlife to support wellbeing and development
Support Cwtsh Natur today and help create a lasting legacy for children with additional needs in our community. Together, we can grow something beautiful.

The sensory garden is the next chapter in transforming the Neath Port Talbot Hospital Children’s Centre.
