What we do
We work with individuals like you – patients, family, friends, the general public and NHS staff – to raise money for good causes – those things not covered by core NHS funding – so that together, we can make a real difference to people’s lives.
When you donate to us, 90p out of every £1 goes directly to your chosen cause.
We reinvest 10p out of every £1 to cover essential costs as well as fundraising activities so that we can continue supporting patients, staff and services across Swansea Bay.

We raise funds in a number of different ways:
Every donation helps us make improvements that make a big difference – from cutting-edge equipment and pioneering research to support for patients, families and NHS staff.
Your impact
We fundraise for a purpose. That purpose is to help us provide the best possible care for our patients.
If you need some inspiration and motivation to fundraise, look no further than these examples of the impact so far. But we want to go further. With your support.

How we make a difference
Staff wellbeing and training
Caring for patients starts with supporting the people who deliver that care.
In 2024–25, we invested over £197,000 in:

The Sharing HOPE programme, offering creative and therapeutic sessions to help staff process stress and improve mental wellbeing

Specialist training and education opportunities, enabling staff to learn new techniques and bring best practice back to Swansea Bay

Wellbeing initiatives across the Health Board, supporting staff to feel valued, supported and able to deliver the best care possible
Supporting our communities

Our impact goes beyond hospitals. Through our Small Grants Scheme, we support local community groups delivering projects that improve health and wellbeing across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. These initiatives help tackle isolation, improve mental health and support people to live healthier lives.
Together, we are making a difference across Swansea Bay.
Whether you choose to donate, fundraise or get involved, your support helps us improve healthcare experiences today and for future generations.
