Jiffy’s Cancer 50 Challenge
Welsh rugby legend Jonathan ‘Jiffy’ Davies leads an annual 50-mile bike ride from Cardiff to Swansea in August.

Help us tackle cancer in South & West Wales! Join us on Sunday 16th August 2026 for our 6th year of Jiffy’s Cancer 50 Challenge.
Last year, more than 330 riders saddled up for the annual cycle challenge, and we hope to exceed this in 2026! During the build up to each event, our riders fundraised with heartfelt passion, helping us to raise more than £300,000 for cancer services in Singleton Hospital’s SWWCC and Velindre Cancer Centre.
Proceeds from the ride go towards cancer services in the South West Wales Cancer Centre, at Singleton Hospital, and Velindre Cancer Charity. Riders will tackle the challenging 50 mile route from Cardiff City Stadium to Swansea’s Bracelet Bay.
Led by Welsh rugby icon Jonathan ‘Jiffy’ Davies, this year’s ride will be the sixth year in a row. We’re inviting you to help us take things to the next level for Jiffy’s Cancer 50 Challenge 2025! Are you in?
In 2025, over 330 cyclists took part in Jiffy’s fifth annual challenge – the largest number so far – raising a total of £48,000
In the previous five years, you’ve helped us to raise a staggering
£300,000

“This event, and the charities it supports, are very close to my heart. We had people on the ride who are currently having cancer treatment. On the darkest of days, days like this need to be celebrated.”
Sarah Gwynne, consultant clinical oncologist at the South West
Wales Cancer Centre, said:
“We could not do this work without your support and are very grateful.”
