Touched by Cancer
Touched by Cancer is back for 2027, building on the success of a tournament that has already made a life-changing difference for cancer patients across South West Wales. Since its launch, the event has raised an incredible £82,000 for Swansea Bay Health Charity, including £58,100 in 2026, helping the Going the Extra Mile for Cancer Appeal surpass its ambitious £200,000 target.
In 2026, over 640 people joined us for Touched by Cancer Women’s Touch Rugby Tournament – raising a total of £58,100.
In the previous two years, our supporters have helped us to raise a staggering
£82,000
for cancer services in Swansea Bay.

Thanks to this support, the Going the Extra Mile for Cancer Appeal is now complete and work can now move forward to create a modern, welcoming outpatient department at the South West Wales Cancer Centre, improving the experience of thousands of patients and families.
Touched by Cancer 2027 will be in support of cancer services across Swansea Bay University Health Board. As the tournament continues to grow, every team, player and supporter will help us make an even greater impact on cancer services for many years to come.
