One of the Cwtsh Clos homes – funded by Swansea AFC – was thoughtfully named “Gulliver’s House” after Mal’s grandson who sadly passed away as a premature baby who received care in Singleton NICU.
Mal Pope’s Homecoming concert in Swansea Building Society Arena was dedicated to the Cwtsh Clos Appeal, with 10% of profits going towards the appeal.
The houses already have a new look and feel, with brand new gardens with patios, flowerbeds and colourful window and door frames.
The interior refurbishment has begun with the living rooms. The new cosy furniture aims to make the houses feel homely and non-clinical.
