We’re thrilled to share that our Cwtsh Clos Golf Day has raised an incredible £6,539 in support of the Cwtsh Clos appeal – and it’s all thanks to the generosity and kindness of our community.

Held at the beautiful Fairwood Park Golf Club, the event brought together supporters, sponsors, and some very special guests for a fantastic day of golf, stories, and fundraising. Huge thanks go to our sponsors Swansea City AFC (@swansofficial) for backing the event, and of course, to Fairwood Park for being such welcoming and professional hosts.

We were honoured to be joined by Swans legends Lee Trundle, Alan Curtis, and Leon Britton, who shared their memorable experiences from their footballing careers. A special thank you as well to Mal Pope, who not only hosted the event with warmth and humour, but also opened up about his family’s personal connection to Singleton Hospital’s NICU, where his grandson Gulliver received care. These stories reminded us all why the Cwtsh Clos appeal is so important.

Cwtsh Clos aims to create a comforting, homely space for families with babies in the neonatal unit – a true ‘home away from home’ during some of the most difficult times. Thanks to your support, we are one step closer to making this vision a reality.
